  I have been attending this church since 1997. The members, pastors, and staff are very friendly and warm. We are very family and community oriented. We do tons of mission work including soup kitchens, the NEST program, sending mission teams to El Salvador, West Virginia, as well as local areas to help the community. It sponsors Pack and Troop 48 of the Boy Scouts as well as numerous Girl Scout Troops. You can also find NA, Weight Watchers, Creative Memories and many other activities going on every day of the week. It has a fabulous music department and a caring Sunday School for every age level. There is something here at GBUMC for everyone to enjoy!
  
  Also, as far as the review by Rev. Spitz, the church called the cops on him because his anti-abortion signs had very graphic views of actual abortions on them. We are located right next to the Middle School and GBUMC found it very inappropriate for those kids to see the images outside of the school. Plus, I'm pretty sure he also overstepped the leasing lines and posted some signs on our actual property so that's also another reason why the cops were called.
